Onboarding
Right. Let's get you set up.
This is the boring-but-necessary bit. I need a couple things from you before I can do anything useful. I've split it into what I genuinely need to start, and what can wait.
Three kinds of things: stuff you hand me, stuff you do yourself (I show you exactly how, or if you get stuck we can jump on a call), and stuff I handle on my end. Stop whenever, come back whenever. It saves as you go.
Once you're done, you'll get an email around ops, scope, and how it all works based on your selected service / business. For now, the topline things are: No cancellation fees, no lock-in periods. Just 30-days' notice (from either of us) when it's time to call it. Comms are through email, Google Chat Space + Board, and ideally we catch up either in person or on a call once per month at minimum.
About the business
Alllllrighty, what are we working with?
If you want, there are two ways to fill a lot of this out faster from your site. Both are optional; you can skip them and fill everything in yourself below.
Pull what your public site already says and prefill a couple of fields. Quicker. Less interpretation. You tidy the rest.
Same public pages, read a bit harder so more of the form fills itself. Takes longer. Still yours to edit before anything is saved.
Fine print
To be very clear: I don't sell your data, or use anything it scrapes for selling shit to you later, or anything like that. And either way, reading a public website is imperfect.
All of this is the same stuff any web scraper sees from a public site anyway, and the choice is completely up to you. If your website blocks scrapers it won't be very reliable, which... is something we can chat about if you ever want to be discovered and recommended by consumer AI. And unfortunately for all of us, and the world we now live in, you probably do want to be discovered by them.
Services
What are we doing together?
Tick what you're starting. Not everyone needs everything.
Your market
Who and what you're up against.
All optional, and you can add more any time. Even a few names sharpen what I build for you, and you'll watch your picture fill in.
Competitors
The rivals you watch. A name and their site.
Suppliers
Who you buy from or depend on. Name, and a site or region.
Materials & ingredients
The key inputs in what you sell.
Admin
The invoicing basics.
What I need
Access and information.
The things marked needed to start are what I'm waiting on. The rest can trickle in.
Can come later
Review
That's the lot.
Done
Well done, ya weapon.
Thanks. The things you marked as needed to start are what I'll action first. Anything that can come later, send it whenever.
Anything weird or unclear, just email me.
Talk soon,
Chris
